Morsy Group was established in 1988 in Gulf Area, focusing on restaurants and cafés, before moving to Cairo in 2007 where it opened its first specialty coffee café under the name Coffeeshop Company. In 2013, the Morsi Group began new initiatives and concepts inside airports for service and restaurants through the brand The Garden Café. This included operating salons and lounges to serve travelers, and as of 2024, there are 8 such salons (Cairo/Sharm el-Sheikh/Hurghada/Marsa Alam/Luxor/Borg El Arab), with more to open in the coming months. In 2020, the group launched the C&A brand to cater aircrafts beginning in Marsa Alam. In 2023, it started operating its new unit at Cairo Airports, which today supplies approximately 4000 meals daily to airlines, as well as private, royal, and presidential aircraft. The company is planning an expansion and will open a new unit at Cairo Airport's ramp side within days with a production capacity of up to 10,000 meals daily in its first phase. Additionally, it acquired a catering unit inside Marsa Alam Airport, becoming the exlcusive and primary supplier there. This service, provided for the first time since the airport's inception, was previously unavailable to customers. This unit will also open this month with a capacity of up to 5000 meals daily in its first phase. Through these expansions, the group aims to increase its production capacity in all Egyptian airports while maintaining the high level of service it has always strived to preserve and extend services to some airports that previously lacked such services
